About Dr. Mattson
I grew up on a dairy farm in the Catskill Mountains of upstate New York. I studied Chemistry at Binghamton University and obtained a dual degree from New York Chiropractic College with a Masters in Applied Clinical Nutrition and a Doctorate in Chiropractic in 2010. My current education interests include strength and conditioning, pre and postnatal exercise and health, nutrition, kettlebell programs and functional medicine. I am recently certified in the Girls Gone Strong programs of Women's Coaching Specialist and Pre & Post-Natal Coaching Specialist.
I hope to start a dry-needling certification soon to help further assist my clients in their recovery!
I'm interested most in helping you discover what health choices work best for your life. My goal is provide service through a collaboration that facilitates self-healing, responsibility and knowledge for your unique health concerns to increase your function and quality of life. I enjoy working with the 'everyday athletes' and helping others reach their performance goals.
I live with my family in Franklin, NY surrounded by a hobby farm. Very often, my dogs Rosie or Tango join me at the office!
